GEMÜ manufactures its comprehensive product range at eight locations in seven countries on three continents. In addition to the two production sites in Germany.

The majority of manufacturing and assembly operations take place at the Ingelfingen-Criesbach and Kupferzell sites. Products developed here include the multi-port valve blocks made from stainless steel. GEMÜ also combines this with expertise in the area of surface technology that is cultivated at the surface technology centre (OTZ) in the Hohenlohe business park.

The global production strategy is organized worldwide according to product groups. For example, the GEMÜ production facility in China produces butterfly valves for the entire Group. The plant in Brazil produces globe valves, diaphragms are produced in France, clean room production is located in Switzerland, the plant in the USA specializes in valve configurations and various valve types are assembled in India.

Apart from world famous of GEMU Diaphragm Valves, GEMU also produces other valve types including butterfly valves, ball valves, globe valves, check valves, solenoid valves, pressure retaining/reliefing/reducing valves as well, available in stainless, metal and various plastics.
